Privacy Policy
CookClue collects only the information needed to operate, understand, and improve the troubleshooting reference.
Information we may collect
Server logs may contain technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and error details. Internal search terms, anonymous “Did this help?” feedback, and correction reports may be stored to improve coverage and diagnosis quality.
Cookies and sessions
CookClue uses essential session cookies for security features such as CSRF protection and administration. If analytics or advertising products are enabled in the future, this policy should be updated to name those services and any consent mechanism used.
Advertising
Advertising is disabled by default in the software. If display advertising such as Google AdSense is enabled, the deployed site's operator must configure the required consent and privacy disclosures for the jurisdictions it serves.
Feedback and corrections
Optional troubleshooting feedback and correction reports are not published publicly. Correction reports may include an optional email address only if you choose to provide one. Avoid submitting personal or sensitive information.
Retention and contact
The site operator should retain logs and feedback only as long as reasonably needed for security, analytics, and editorial improvement.
